I just updated the radar map and now it is with super resolution. No need to specify a region. Just zoom/move to your favorite region and it will be remembered automatically. Here is an exemplary screenshot:

@Jack
Thanks for the crx but still no joy ...
Tbh, I think the fact I've installed and uninstalled that many times now it's up the creek ...
Even though I uninstall it, when I reinstall, it has my original preferences ...
How can I do a totally clean install, do I need to clear my cookies or anything else so that I effectively remove all traces of AW ...
One other thing when it installs and I restart Chrome I don't get the firsy page to set my preferences, what do I need to clear ?
While I was waiting for an answer I deleted my cookies and reinstalled using the crx ...
It worked this time (yahooooooo !!) now a happy bunny ;-)
PS:
Knew there was something else, the popup is too short, doesn't cover all the text at the bottom ...

@jack
Screenshot of popup being too short for text ...
Pictures getter than words ...;-)
@jack ...
As AniWeather now uses cookies (I guess for its variables) what happens when they are deleted (like a lot of people do) ....
Only just got AW to work, don't want it crapped up again ;-)
@jack
It would appear to work OK if you delete your cookies ...
How exactly does your extension work and how does it use cookies ....
Actually your extension is quite annoying ...
It's a bit of a conundrum, if you had never installed it you wouldn't miss it, but once you have installed it you really miss it when it's not there ;-)
Hi Steve,
AniWeather saves settings in its own domain. So far I haven't provided an interface to clean the cookie yet since this is just an in-between solution. If you deleted cookies from chrome menu and it worked, I guess it is just some bugs (or internal conflicts) in Chrome?
BTW I am quite interested in knowing why you think AniWeather is annoying. I will consider your suggestions and improve its user experience. Thanks in advance.
Answered your question in my post ...
It''s annoying because it's something you look at and think 'what the heck' and install it ...
Then you realise you can't live without it when Chrome updates and it doesn't work any more ;-)
Any way of showing weather outside the US ? Like Denmark would be fare more interessting for me to see the weather for![]()
