It think you are very cryptic

Do you expect people to download/test this extension with so little explanation?

    Come on!!!

The archive doesn't look bad. Easy to use settings, etc.

Just wasn't able to find anything on LastPass.com yet.

Sure, you are allowed to post this direct URL ? lol Maybe it's in closed alpha?

    But thanks anyway, Robin

Found the link in a tech-blog I read. Didn't read anything about it being closed in the blog, so I figured I could post the link here, but I might be wrong.

Lastpass is an incredibly useful tool with extension for IE, FF and now Chrome. Saves all your password and login-info in a central database, so you only need to remember one password from now on.

I use both FF and Chrome on a daily basis and the reason I haven't yet moved fully to Chrome is the many extensions I use with FF. And LastPass was at the top of the list of the extensions that I wanted for Chrome. Still some left, but this is a very big step for me to move over to Chrome as my default browser.

It sets up nice I was using LastPass with a bookmarketlet on Chrome but the extension isn't working correctly or at least the way it would on FF.

I'm glad this is out though I love LastPass.

Seems it is official, read DS posting.

LastPass is great, was using it for some time after switching from FX to Chrome (RoboForm didn't work). Still using its bookmarklet on Chromium, but only for non-important stuff. The important ones I have saved in my brain. Probably I'm paranoid, but I can't help... can't get acustomed that I'd save passwords on another computer (server). If it's getting hacked (yeah, I know it's 500 million times encryped, every company says that lol)... or if the company has a bad guy... I lose all my accounts? No way Jose!

    Anyway, here's a screenie

Since when can the auto update configuration file be a dynamically generated file? Always thought .XML is required?!

    LastPass is using:

    Code:
    "update_url":      "https://lastpass.com/upgrade.php"

Chrome is getting the update file with a normal HTTP request, so if the php script output a valid XML file it shouldn't be a problem.

I've been waiting for this to come out for Google Chrome.
It is still very alpha but a great leap in the right direction.

My goals are being fulfilled for this browser steadily

    1.) Ad blocking... check.
    2.) Lastpass syncronization check.
    3.) Greasemonkey scripts... check.
4.) Download manager like flashgot, not yet ;(
    5.) Session saver... check.

It uses far less resources than FF and the fonts seem to be sharper.
Good going google, I take back 2% of the horrible things I say about your company.
