@mg2:
Great extension, the only thing really missing is the ability to drag attachments with GMail.
Used to be possible with Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2190
More about this add-on
Drop files into attachment boxes instead of browse for them or type in the filename. Drop multiple files and fill all the entries. In some websites it allows to add new upload files: in Google Mail is possible to drop the files directly over the "Attach a file" link.
Are there any possibilities here?
@Luc VN
I don't think such kind of extension behavior is allowed by Chrome... But as soon as someone figures out how to do it I'll add it to the collection
As you might have noticed when I update the extension and have added new features It opens the Options automatically. Some guys complained about this. I can see why it's a little bit annoying. But how else will a user, especially newbie, see there are new features added? Possible solutions are:
1. Force the new settings to be ON by default. But i guess some other guys will complain that messed up X and Y and I'm not sure someone will notice...
2. Add [NEW] to the Better Gmail link in the upper right corner on update and remove it as soon as someone opens the options. The cons is I'm not sure anyone will see it and also someone who has unchecked the Better Gmail options button will complain that it's back again
3. Fudge the updates, I don't want to be bothered
4. Fudge the complainer, I like to be notified about new features
What do you think I should. What would be best. PLEASE answer![]()
1.
Personally I wouldnt like that as I have a tendancy to not trust these sort of things %100 and would want to know if theres anything new that may affect the page
2.
What button?I selected this but am not getting the link on the gmail page. Plus from the screenshot you supplied for help, I agree it would prolly go unnoticed for a while...dont mind that option tho. Plus theres the fact it can be days till I go to the actually page these days thanks to Google Mail Checker Plus.
4.
That would be my choice. I hate the fact that I dont get told when extensions update and for this very reason.
@PAEz
You say this option is not working for you? You're not seeing this:
Because here it's working flawless... Anyone else experiencing this kind of problem?

Sure I saved before I loaded last time tho...prolly just me, sorry again
My bad. I should rewrite the whole Options page for a better design and save on change. Probably soon...
Coming soon-ish:
