Compilation of my favorite userscripts and userstyles for Gmail. Makes e-mail better.
I loved Gina Trapani's Firefox extension idea and I couldn't wait so I made an extension for Google Chrome. Special thanks to all the script authors are in the options page + links to the original scripts.

◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘WHAT IT DOES:◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘
In the options you can choose to:
◘ Remove Ads. Fix Page width. Reposition print button.
◘ Hide Chat.
◘ Hide Footer.
◘ Hide Invite Friends Field.
◘ Hide Chat Status (Muzzle)
◘ Show a Better Gmail Options Button for quicker access to the options
◘ Show Unread Count in Favicon.
◘ Show Attachment Icons.
◘ Add Row Highlight On Mouse Over.
◘ Handle e-mail (mailto) links with Gmail
- Links to additional useful Gmail extensions I couldn't implement

Click on the wrench -> Extensions -> Better Gmail Options. Than check what you want to be included.

Version history:
2.1.52: ◘NEW◘ Apparently the "Sponsor messages" were called Web Clips and can be disabled from Gmail Settings
2.1.5: •NEW• Added Muzzle; Added Link for quick access to the options (see screenshot)

NEED HELP

So as many users suggested i need a options page, which i made. It saves the settings in localstorage. BUT after an hour of making the option page I faced the fact that content_script CANNOT read localstorage, so please if anyone has any idea how to bypass this problem.... any other way to save/read settings? background page? cookies? bookmarks? anything? please

nope. content_script isn't allowed to read local_storage or smthing.... i hope some good man who has faced this problem will read my help call

I also stumbled upon these posts.
BUT also saw that the creator of Facebook Cleanup had the same problem before but in the latest version managed to fix it... At the moment i'm staring at the code trying to understand with no luck HOW he did this. Help me
