Smile [New Ext] Blackcoils' YouTube Downloader Packaged as CRX as

This isn't really a new extension I just thought I'd package Blackcoils original extension as a CRX (because I like it) when extension support changed and although there is a User Script version I only use extensions, so hence my reason for packaging it...

Before anyone says I haven't formatted this properly, can I point out this isn't mine and I don't provide any support for it (and don't intend to), it's here if you want it that's all ...

Both myself and LucVN have tried several times to contact Blackcoil (Email, PM, his blog) all to no avail ...

So thanks to Waha and her Extension Manager (that I used to package it) here it is ...

This has worked successfully in all Dev versions since the use of CRX were first introduced and it works in the latest Beta version (3.0.195.4)

If you don't know what it ism here is Blackcoils original post
NEW YouTube Download Helper Extension

Enjoy ;-)

@sul

I had read it, but as I didn't consider it to be a new extension (and I certainly won't be supporting it) just wanted to post something to say it was available (as Crx) if anyone wanted it ...

Dare say it'll just be forgotten about now anyway (shame really) ;-)

Target
"C:\Documents and Settings\Paula\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --enable-user-scripts --enable-extensions"

Start in
"C:\Documents and Settings\Paula\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\Application"

The youtube.js and manifest.json location
C:\Documents and Settings\Paula\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Extensions\nngcnkmokaebchdigmbjikmcnoanjkpb\1.0

I'm pretty sure --enable-userscripts does not exists.

You are not using chromium instead perhaps, that could perhaps course it not to work..?
