    Default [New Ext] - Chrome Reader - Yet another Google Reader extension

    Chrome Reader 1.0 by jachymko

    https://chrome.google.com/extensions...kiekmobleogjc/

    It's a simple extension that allows subscribing feeds in Google Reader directly from the address bar. I tried to make it as similar as possible to the standard Chrome bookmark (star) button.

    I don't use Google Reader (haven't even seen it, actually) but this looks so neat I'm going to give it a go.

    @Michael3185: Google reader rocks for me !!!
    It is fast, accessible from everywhere and every computer I use...
    I have tried many feed programs but Reader has my preference!

    Please try it without extensions at first, so you will test the reader and not the extensions...

    There's a new version that allows for creating new folders when adding a subscription.

    @jachymko

    Your extension is reasonably good as far as it goes and I do like the folder option ...

    However it needs to be able to show all the feeds that are available for a particular site ...

    Using this site as an example http://www.soft32.com/ your extension shows only one feed when in actual fact there are 8 different feeds available ...

    Hi StevePaul,

    Thanks for the recommendation. I checked out TPGoogleReader and it is quite a full-featured extension. However, it doesn't really meet my needs. I normally have Reader open as a separate Chrome app window, so all I wanted was an extension to be able subscribe to subscribe to a feed on a webpage without opening additional windows, which is exactly what Chrome Reader does.

    However, your suggestion regarding multiple feeds on a single page would be a great addition to Chrome Reader.
