    That works OK ...

    I currently use the AccuWeather extension and this is on a par with it ...

    However, it would be good if you could customise the background colours and text...

    Great one! You made me stop using my own weather extension for this The only disadvantage of this one is that it runs in the background => constant ram/cpu/internet usage... Anyway. Some more theme related customization options are a really good idea
    ps: adding a link to the 15day forecast would be also great
    ps1: add custom refresh interval
    ps2: change the link color (make links and visited links the same color and remove decoration):
    Code:
     a:link {
    	color: gray;
    	text-decoration: none;
    	}
    a:visited {
    	color: gray;
    	text-decoration: none;
    	}
    ps3: add autoupdate

    ps9875858: great extension

    It concerns me that this is constantly running, especially the Internet usage as I have Mobile Broadband on 'Pay as You Go' ...

    Is there anyway that this can be stopped and the extension becomes 'on demand' like MG2's AccuWeather ...

    @Steve Paul
    I suggested refresh interval - you can set it to check like every hour or so...

    Thanks for the detailed feedback!

    @StevePaul:

    Did you change the font colors in your screen shot? The text color should be black so I'm not sure why yours is white. I'll post screen shots so you can see what its intended to look like. As for colors, we will support themes in the near future that let you switch between icon packs and color schemes.

    Are you using this on a Mobile browser or are you using Mobile broadband on your laptop? We did not have mobile devices in mind while designing this, so the extension does update every 15 minutes in the background. An "on-demand" update makes much more sense here than on Firefox, where Forecastfox is always shown, so we'll add a way to configure this as mg2 suggests. The downside is that the popup will open slower since the data won't already be fetched.

    @mg2:

    I'm glad you like the extension! We'll update the links to fit better with the rest of the extension. We might even get this in a new version today. We also plan on adding themes- read the first part of this post for more info. Also, we haven't looked too much into optimizing its footprint yet. It really shouldn't use much CPU while running in the background (only when it updates), but we will start optimizing it in the near future.

    Please let me know if either of you have any more feedback! Its very useful for improving the extension.
