    Default Thanx

Terrific! It's a feature that should have been part of the base browser package, but your extension fills that missing piece very nicely. Thank you!

At the risk of overcomplicating its simple, straightforward interface (and hopefully small footprint), it would be nice if the tab list were somehow integrated with the task manager (so I could see which tabs are draining resources and then click to go to them), and/or if the list showed which tabs are 'snapped''

Thanks again for making Chrome ever more usable for me.

This is really one of the most promising extensions of Chrome. Love the idea!

I couldn't hold my fingers from messing and developing this extensions so I added a few features to it, and polished it a bit.

Added: Hotkey (shift+t), close on ESC, polished layout, navigate results by arrow keys and view URL under page title.

I'd love to work together with you, Peve, on this extension, but of course that's up to you. I put the source up on MediaFire if you like to download/implement it.

    Hi Manticore,

Thanks for the great update. I have added your updates to the main page on the thread. I have made a .crx and uploaded it on my website so it is free for anyone to download.

I have sent you an PM to discuss working together!

Using this with a mouse gesture works great!
Using a mouse gesture allows me to have the Extension bar remain hidden.

hmm, i second what he said, about finding tabs with high CPU, or BANDWITH

oh and shift+T is capital T, maybe a better hotkey? (I dont think ctrl+Q is in use)

And i apreciate the URL addition, it has helped alot.

Then all the addon will need is, ability to be added to bookmarks bar, and ability to search the pages themselfs, for this to be the perfect tool. although it is still probably the most usefull tool ive got.

Oh and random idea, dont know if its so good... but you could include downloads in your searches, which would search for dl name, dl location, (and maybe inside the file, (opened as a .txt)

Currently I don't think it's possible to get CPU or bandwidth information in an extension, but good idea.

You're right about Shift+T, it's a bad one but chose it because it was easy to push. Ctrl+Q sounds better and won't cause any conflicts.

What do you mean by added to the bookmark bar? Also isn't it best to use Ctrl+F to search inside pages?

Including downloads, bookmarks etc sounds like a great idea!

in the bookmarks bar, doesnt have todo with this extension in particular, but im saying all extensions should be able to share realeastate with the bookmarks bar.. someone only running 1-2 extensions doesnt want an entire bottom worth of room wasted... it might just be me, but i tried --show-extensions-on-top
which didnt work (although i have sync, and a user profile currently setup on the shortcut)

It is better to use ctrl+F to search your CURRENT tab..
but if you know something, is in 1 of your tabs, but you dont know which one..
tabsearch could search all the tabs for that keyword.. bringing you to them, and highlighting the word..

Only problem with sharing the bookmarks bar is that you need to display it all the time ...

Extensions don't show in the bookmark folder (if you've enabled it)...

It will be a better option once they decide to allow the bookmarks bar to spread over more than one line and also allow auto hide ...
