Description: Hi, I am a tab manic and I end up sometimes having over 30 tabs. When you get to this point I find it difficult to keep track of what tabs are open so for my first extension I decided to give users the ability to search there tabs. Hopefully someone will find it useful. If you notice any bugs or have any suggestions please post in this thread.

Manticore managed to make this extension even better by touching up my code and adding a lot of great features such as:
Hotkey (shift+t), close on ESC, polished layout, navigate results by arrow keys and view URL under page title.

Features :

• Search for tabs using a AJAX interface
• Search for tabs on all windows
• Press enter to open the top tab or click on the tab you want
• Hotkey (ctrl+q)
• Close on ESC
• Navigate results by arrow keys
• View URL under page title

Browser Compatibility: 4.0.211.4+

Useful for me too with many tabs.

Changes I made in the "style.css" file :
ADD : body { font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 80%; }
CHANGE : table th, table td {.... font-size: 80%; }
ADD : table th:hover, table td:hover { background-color: #D4E4FF; }

I love it, but how about, a check box, to show URLS, and let you search for pieces of a url, and if possible, it could search the pages for matching text to..
but the url part would be plenty

this is definently a must have extension for me ^^, although with urls it would be even better

Thanks for the positive feedback! I have been trying to get round to adding some new features and tidying up the code but I have been a bit busy.

Good idea, the url one would be easy todo and I will look into the searching the pages for text as well!

I didnt click on this thread till now coz I thought it was going to be some boring text search box thingie.
But being able to click on the easily readable (cant read any title with too many tabs open) entry in the list is awesome!
Only thing Id like if possible is for it to remember the position and size of that pop up window, other than that I frekn love it .

Would love to have this feature, but can't get it to work. When downloading the link in Chrome, it always returns an error message which reads 'Invalid value for toolstrips (0)'.

Could you provide some more information please?

What chrome version are you running?
What operating system are you using?
Can you actually download the extension or is it failing when it is attempting to install?

I don't really need the toolbar icon.
