Default remove old versions of extensions

I don't see any simple tool to remove old multiple versions of extensions, instead of just doing this manually one extension at a time. For example, I have:

    afnegjhmodlialliliiiiggokjdihila:
    0.22/

    cccpiddacjljmfbbgeimpelpndgpoknn:
    0.5/

    cdngiadmnkhgemkimkhiilgffbjijcie:
    1.2.11.4/ 1.2.11.5/ 1.2.11.6/

    chmimgmjdabgiilljdjfbonifbhiglao:
    1.1.9.10/ 1.1.9.9/

    cpjeanjhmnopkgilndngcbpjdflgbmep:
    3.3.4/

    goinjpofmboaejkhflohjoloaoebfopj:
    0.9.1/ 0.9.2/ 0.9.3/ 0.9.4/

    hehijbfgiekmjfkfjpbkbammjbdenadd:
    1.0.11130.1/ 1.0.11202.1/

    jbfdliigjapoakaefekbfbiomkidiphi:
    1.0/

    jbggehgfjkpkcnpnijceokfeidolnmbp:
    1.6/

    jlhlebbhengjlhmcjebbkambaekglhkf:
    0.4.5/

It would be nice if the "Update extensions now" button on the Extensions page would do this, but it doesn't.

    Thanks.

I think that when I upgraded to Chrome DEV 4.0.249.25

It cleared all but the newest extensions, because I cannot find them anymore in my extensions folder

It also says so in the http://googlechromereleases.blogspot.com/

The Dev channel has been updated to 4.0.249.25 for Windows.

Thanks for that link; I see that info there.

On my Windows XP Pro SP3 PC, since I made Chrome my default browser I decided to be on the Beta Channel instead of the Dev Channel, so I'm now at 4.0.249.11. I'll see what happens when the Beta Channel is updated again.

My Ubuntu 9.10 PC uses the Dev Channel (I don't think there is a choice), and I'm at 4.0.249.22. I also see multiple old versions of extensions. I'll see what happens when that gets updated as well. Under Ubuntu, Chrome is installed as root under /opt/google/..., while my Extensions are under ~/.config/google-chrome/... I assume that a new install (using the Update Manager) should also update User apps.

    Thanks.

Just FYI, chrome is my default browser also and I have had no problems whatsoever with the DEV version. You could go with the DEV channel without trouble.

Yes, I went to the Dev Channel, and after installing .25 the Extensions were cleaned up.

    Thanks.
