I'm thinking of selling a plugin on the Google Web Store. Do I need to do something to protect my code? I don't want anyone to fiddle with the source code, or to pirate copy it.

Are you sure? Google must have some kind of mechanism to prevent pirating? Why would anyone else want to build a extension to earn money?
