Is this a scam, more spam-like or what? The extension can only be downloaded by members and doesn't work. Get a life!

Anywayz, it does work....but maybe the name of the thread is a little misleading. This extension only sets gmail as the default email in chrome. It does this by changing mailto links in web pages to point to gmail, it doesnt set gmail as the default email app in windows. This can be done but is a bit of a hassle and has its limitations, please check this thread for some details on that.....

....or if your saying it didnt work because it didnt automatically install when you downloaded it (which it wont do from here) then click on it in the download bar when its finished and itll ask you if want to continue or discard click on continue and it will be installed.
If all you want is for mailto links to go to gmail in chrome then Id suggest not installing this extension but use Gmail Checker Plus which will change the mailtos for you and check your inbox plus some other nice stuff......

Just added this extension on Chrome, and it works beautifully.

The only change I made is it doesnt open up in a new window anymore.
I found this annoying thanks to the popup blocker. So now you can open in new tab instead.

PAEz: I like this. However when I click on a mail link I would like it to open in a new tab and not in the same tab as the link was at. How can I make the script do this?

To do this all you need to do is hold ctrl while clicking the link and it will open in a new tab
