Default Set Gmail as default webmail client

Hi guys,

I just developed a user script that sets Gmail as default webmail client. It sets Gmail as default application when you click a mailto link. Here's a page to test.

You know this is a User Script and not an extension right?
It goes in your "User Data\Default\User Scripts" folder.

Also it might need to be renamed to GmailDefaultClient.user.js instead, not really sure if that's enforced.

Guys we need a copypasta repository for this question, I can never remember the Vista/Win7 location.

Anyways XP's is C:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\Application where User is your username on your computer.

I packed this into an extension so its easier for my bro to install....
GmailDefaultClient.crx
The only change I made is it doesnt open up in a new window anymore.
I found this annoying thanks to the popup blocker. So now you can open in new tab instead.
Thanks for this Charles, Ive found it very usefull.

Question

When i click a mailto link this appears:
Code:
<script>top.location="https://www.google.com/accounts/ServiceLogin?service=mail&passive=true&rm=false&continue=https%3A%2F%2Fmail.google.com%2Fmail%2F%3Fui%3Dhtml%26zy%3Dl&bsv=zpwhtygjntrz&ss=1&scc=1&ltmpl=default&ltmplcache=2";</script>
It doesn't divert some other page or sth.
I am using google apps mail, not gmail. May it be the reason?

On Windows Vista/7 it is:
C:/Users/<username>/AppData/Local/Google/Chrome/User Data/Default/User Scripts

@Waha, it isn't /Chrome/Application on XP, it's /Chrome/User Data/Default
