I packed this into an extension so its easier for my bro to install....
GmailDefaultClient.crx
The only change I made is it doesnt open up in a new window anymore.
I found this annoying thanks to the popup blocker. So now you can open in new tab instead.
Thanks for this Charles, Ive found it very usefull.
When i click a mailto link this appears:
It doesn't divert some other page or sth.Code:<script>top.location="https://www.google.com/accounts/ServiceLogin?service=mail&passive=true&rm=false&continue=https%3A%2F%2Fmail.google.com%2Fmail%2F%3Fui%3Dhtml%26zy%3Dl&bsv=zpwhtygjntrz&ss=1&scc=1<mpl=default<mplcache=2";</script>
I am using google apps mail, not gmail. May it be the reason?
On Windows Vista/7 it is:
C:/Users/<username>/AppData/Local/Google/Chrome/User Data/Default/User Scripts
@Waha, it isn't /Chrome/Application on XP, it's /Chrome/User Data/Default
