Recently I found a new tool which allows me split browsing web pages like Dual View bookmarklet for Chrome:

This looks like it has real potential, but isn't working for me. I just started using Chrome so I'm wondering if it is due to something that google has changed in chrome or their web apps since the last upgrade.

Specifically, I'm seeing the problem when trying to open gmail as one of my two windows in the spit screen. It starts to work, but when gmail loads, it jumps back to one single screen.

Anybody have any insight?

the plugin creates 4 child frames ( 2 for the urls and 2 for the pages ). when gmail is loaded, it sets itself to the topmost frame. that's why you seem to get "out" of the plugin.

Is there a way to get this to stop happening? I use another site that it starts to load but then open to a single screen. I assume it is the same problem as the Gmail site is giving.

I can't get Chrome Dual View to work...and was interested in your split window works.

Sorry...it's a no go on the splitter...your website has malware!!!
