Default Tab mouseover previews - can Chrome do this? Is there an extension out there?

I love the Tab Scope addon for Firefox; it's the last major feature I'm used to having but have to go without now that I've switched to Chrome. It shows a thumbnail preview of each tab as you move your mouse over it, similar to the thumbnail preview displayed in windows by moving your mouse over an app in your taskbar.

Does anything like this exist for Chrome? Would it even be possible with the current level of customization allowed by Chrome extensions?

Theres no way for extensions to know the mouse is over a tab and no way to make a panel yet, so no this isnt possible yet.

The closest youll get is an extension like this one.....
