Hello,
That's because you updated to today's dev version and there's a change in the page actions API. I'll update my extension later today to be compatible with the new API, and I'll post here. Thanks for reporting the problem!
This is a discussion on TPGoogleReader - much more than other GR ext's! within the Chrome Plugins section, part of the Google Chrome category: Hello, That's because you updated to today's dev version and there's a change in the page actions API. I'll update ...
Hello,

OK, I just posted verson 0.3.9 which is compatible with the new API and also makes use of it: when a page has just one feed the page action is the GR icon, and if it has more feeds then it is the "new", orange feed icon. Hold mouse over the icon to see a tooltip with information how many feeds were found on the page.
Hey guys, note that the extension was updated faster than the API documentation itselfIn the manual there is still the old API at the moment.
And don't be surprised if it stops working with the new release again![]()
@TP
Excellent addition ;-)
Thanks for reporting.
That's true, there is a memory leak, and I've already spent a day or two trying to find it and found nothing. I don't have experience with JavaScript and probably I'm missing something obvious. I'll surely try to do something about it but I cannot say how long it is going to take.
(BTW, uploaded 0.3.9.1 with some very minor changes)
@father ..
As TP says there is a memory leak problem and I have the same ...
However mine is no where near the 200Mb you are showing ...
What OS are you on and how long had you had Chrome running when you noticed this leak ?
When I marked 700 items as unread and waited several hours (without the checkbox checked), I got memory usage of this chrome process around 1.5GB
Or maybe I should shut up and find the bug instead of making myself a anti-advertisement
(I'm on Windows, but I guess this does not make any difference.)
Here is new trouble on pages with multiple feeds:
(on click to rss icon on address bar)

And a question. Can I disable a bottom-bar with this plugin (optional)?
I want to use it only for rss subscriptions, not for feeds monitoring.
Thanks for your answers! Good plugin. Good luck!
Yes, sorry, 0.3.9.1 had a typo in the code and didn't show feeds. Corrected now in 0.3.9.2. Thanks for reporting.
The bottom bar cannot be disabled, this would need to be implemented in Chrome itself.
