Is there a plugin out there that replaces/enhances the New Tab page to all a fixed set of page links? I suppose I could create my own web page and make that the default but it won't be skinned automatically and I'm not that great at making web pages.

I'd love an extension which:

* Opens in place of New Tab
* Allows specifying a list of urls to display
* Is themed automatically like the New Tab page
* Optionally allows a few widgets (weather, google calendar) like the Dashboard extension, but customizable and with a much better implementation
* Includes option to quickly switch between the standard New Tab and the new Dashboard page

Anything out there that is close to this? I wonder if I can do something like this with iGoogle if I make it my default page? Can I create links with previews in iGoogle? I think I would prefer an extension, but I'm open for any ideas...

I dont know of any New Tab Page that does it all, but heres 3 to look at....

This one looks very promising. It accomplishes my primary goal of having fixed links with previews like New Tab and in place of New Tab.
