Overview
If you're a fan of xkcd, webcomic of romance, sarcasm, math, and language, then you know that the tooltip on the image is an important part of each comic strip.
Reading the tooltip is sometimes not an easy thing - sometimes it is so long that you have to chance to read it before it disappears. You can move your mouse a little to read another part of the tooltip, but it's not very efficient.
It's much better to install xkcdAlt. When you visit the xkcd website with this extension installed, the tooltip text appears under the image, in an easy to read form. Of course there's no risk of spoiling a comic strip - the text is only visible when you're holding the mouse pointer over the image, or when you select the invisible text (you can also copy it to clipboard).
