I am trying to find out the main differences between the Stable and Beta version of Chrome
since both share the same build number

You can add --old-new-tab-page to the command line (no need for an extension) of your Chrome shortcut and get your Old NewTab page back with your 9 thumbnails, history and search ;-)
@sul
There isn't any, they just released the Beta to the Stable channel ...
Its just as easy reviewing recent bookmarks through the drop down or history through view full history...Personally I didn't use the search history on the front page but I did use it often when I got to full history...
Otherwise the themes is only a small welcomed addition to Chrome and I totally expect them to only get better...I haven't seen anything in Firefox themes that looks quite like the Brushed Chrome...
At this point Stability & Speed are the main components that I look for and Chrome is Smooth right now with small added features which will only get better before long...especially when they add my built in downloader for videos like they do for pictures in the drop down menu...LOL...
why in the stable version the "--enable-extensions" doesn't work? it worked in the beta....
PS. ......hi all,great forum,super-browser![]()
