I have not been using Google Chrome in the past because of many annoyances and
lack of options, which can hardly be compensated by extensions/plug-ins etc. I
then (some weeks ago) stumbled upon ChromePlus, which seemed excellent but was
buggy on my pc (Win7 32 bit). I then quasi only by chance found SunChrome (
sunchrome.com), a Chinese browser that I found, simply put, excellent. I am currently
testing its SunChrome 9.0.53.7 (68937) version which I found on their forum as
a rar, the official version seems to be 7.x . You will need to use Google's /Chrome's in-line
translation feature to read the forums (Chinese is weird, but the English translations
are sufficient). Anyway, extensions worked well (except roboform which afaics doesn't
install in non-original Google Chrome browsers) -- SunChrome it was totally stable, and I
had all the options I was missing in Chrome.
Now the only reason I am posting here is why is this browser mentioned hardly anywhere
on the English-speaking web....? I hardly shows up in this very forum here, either....
I just don't get it... I feel a bit strange, using a browser that is mentioned hardly
anywhere, yet seems possibly one of the best browsers out there... thanks for your comments on this...
Oh, I am in no way related to the developers. I do not intend to push this browser, I just
want to know some of your thoughts on this, i.e. also if there are critical views!
