Yay! Firefox is next. They have been pretty steady over the past years, they need to provide a better product to make a difference.
However I don't like how Opera is being talked about. It may have a small market share, but make no mistake Opera is one KICKASS browser. Just doesn't have good plugins -_-.

I only use Chrome and Opera for my backup. Just can't stand the clutterness and toolbars of firefox, although 4.0 looks good with the Opera look. So yes good news indeed, because it's gonna make Microsoft really try to fix ie.
Actually, it looks like IE9 will be quite good! Microsoft is continuing its standards conformance started in IE8.
Firefox is really the browser that needs catch up now. Looking forward to the new UI in FF4 and they better speed up their now really slow Javascript.
Agree with Fez, Opera is the only one browser which kickass Chrome. One thing i hate about opera, I can't fast set proxy since no option for "Use the same proxy for all protocol".
About IE9, no new speed found (IE9 Preview)

Actually IE9 has very good speed improvement, both to the browser responsiveness and especially for Javascript processing! IE9 Preview 3 is on par with Safari 5 for Sunspider Javascript benchmark, which is excellent!
I don't know if IE9 has preview 3. I thought the last one is Preview 2 and in Preview 2 using PeaceKeeper benchmark, IE9 so far from Chrome

IE9 preview 3 has been out for almost a week now.

Yeah IE9 is going to be good, I would use it if they allowed developer extensions to be made
