There isn't available in the Chrome Blog the changelog, but this latest version is the worst imo.

It took me 30min to find out that the Tab Page is crashing Google Chrome in this release. Any time I try to open it, it crashes

Whoa, this version is very crashy, i just had a fit of crashing, then reopening just then to crash again, and i didnt have the new tab page open!

from the comments on http://googlechromereleases.blogspot.com/ it is clear that the reason for crashes is probably --enable-sync

In my case it wasn't.

I had to remove all extensions too, and change the default page to something else then "new tab". Now I'm able to browse in Chrome at least.

UPDATE: THIS RELEASE HAS BEEN HALTED DUE TO A CRASHING ERROR WITH --enable-sync.

This version for mac finally has a tooltip, yay! Meaning Most Extensions can be used.
