I used to impress customers that used IE and Firefox by running the benchmarks at Peacekeepers.

Typically if IE scored 1000, Firefox would score 3000.

Then I would install Google Chrome and run the benchmarks again.

Normally Chrome would just about double the Firefox score or about 6000.

With the update to Chrome 13 I was interested to see how it would fare, I'm shocked to say the least.

I'm running a Mint Linux OS 32bit on a Core2 Duo with 4G of ram. Chrome 13 scored 3809 and FF5 scored 3362.

I then ran the two on my wife's laptop which is running Windows 7. Chrome 13 - 3681, FF5 - 3834

Firefox beat Chrome? What has happened?
