Thanks for this , not that it means a lot !!

We'll see how long these last before they change again ...

Got a response from a guy called Shawn on the Chrome help site (he's on the Chrome team)

Answer was as I thought it would be, but at least I got it official ...

Hopefully my comments left Google with something to think about, but I doubt they'll do anything about it, so looks like your services will be required 'till they sort something out as part of the Chrome interface ...

Wierd.. I didn't change anything.. Anyways, the themes should also work on the latest Chromium version (2.0.171.0).

Been one of them days ...

While I'm on and nothing to do with themes and more as a matter of interest ...

What, if anything, do you use as an ad blocker ?

You'll be pleased to know your themes also work in Chrome 2.0.171.0 ...

Got it right this time lol ...

Still interested in knowing if you use an ad blocker of any kind ...

Good, but apparently there is a new image that I have to add to the theme that has been added to Chrome 2.0.171.0...

I don't use any ad blocker, but I heard of an ad blocker bookmarklet...

    Looks OK to me ...

About Ad blockers, just interested to see if Ads were a problem to people ...

I've tested this one it's OK but you have to click on the bookmarklet on every page you load to get rid of the adverts even then it leaves a little message behind !!.

I used to use software called Privoxy (combined with internet proxy settings) which was good, except it left a big white space where the advert should be, which was almost as annoying as the advert !!

The one I use now, and the best I've come across, is AdSweep which is JavaScript, it completely removes the advert and clears the space.
The beauty is because it goes in a User Script folder in the Data Folder in Chrome it doesn't get overwritten when Chrome is updated (so far anyway)...

Try it out here ... http://www.adsweep.org
