Yay !
That's a very fast growth.
AFAIR it was under 4% a few months ago.
EDIT: Clicked the link and it grew by more than 1,5% in ~6 months ! Awesome![]()
That's pretty awesome. Not too shabby considering I used Opera previously...
I am amazed by Firefox also!!!
I use IE for only internet banking; although Firefox is my default browser in WinXP, I use Chrome for surfing; I have Opera and Safari and another few browsers installed :-)
(Avant, Maxthon 1 and 2, QtWeb, and another 3 unknown browsers)
Chromium is running fine in Win7
When Chrome starts to mature and incorporates extensions, I will use Chrome instead of Firefox
I have posted some stats for Browser Market Share on our blog. Do check this out Chrome Market Share 73% in May 2009.
FF stats are also a bit skewed considering it's the only real browser Mac users have.
I think the one that surprised me more then anything else was the number of IE6 users ...
I was talking to a guy in Phoenix (Arizona) via email the other night who was still an avid IE6 user (he supplied the link) ...
The problem with stats is that they are subjective ...
Because of the maturity of the other browsers it could be assumed that these numbers reflect valid users, whereas the numbers for Chrome could be the number of people that have downloaded Chrome just to have a look !!
