I am interestedin using chrome but want to prevent chrome from having any contact with Google. I want it to be an application that doesnt phone home in any way, whatsoever, without my consent. Is there a way to do this? I have heard that chrome sends every thing typed in the location bar to google, for example. I am not familiar enough with chrome to know of other faults like this, so before I perhaps jump on the chrome bandwagon I want to know about modifying chrome for privacy. (I am not talking about incognitomode-type privacy.)
