    Default Chromium App Tabs

So I have seen in latest Chromium builds that there are no pinning tabs no more... I googled and see soon there will be app tabs Which I don't like because I liked Pinning Tabs! And when App Tabs come it will soon be transferred to the other channels too

It would be. It has only been removed from chromium so far. It will come to dev after a while of it in Chromium.

And I have no idea what app tabs are. But it was said something to do like Chromium OS..... Im really disappointed over this.

Application tabs are described here: http://crbug.com/32845

    - The current version of pinned tabs is going away, you will not be able to pin an arbitrary tab.

    - An extension can choose to open an 'app' tab. App tabs look like the current version of a pinned tab (although they'll likely have a bigger icon) and behave similarly: they float to the left. One distinct difference between current pinned tabs and app tabs is that once an app tab, always an app tab. This means dragging of app tabs will be restricted to the set of app tabs.

    - You can pin an app tab, which just means on closing it the renderer goes away and you get a different visual treatment (called a phantom tab). Phantom tabs get resurrected when you click on them and load the url specified in the extension's manifest.

How stupid is that! Why should extensions only be allowed to do that. They better make a extension for pinning tabs. Firefox even has a extension for that!

Just to point out, pinning still exists even in the latest trunk builds, you just have to drag the tab to the very far left edge of the tab strip and wait

Not no more. In the latest 37970. They just pop back into normal tabs. They turn into pin tabs for a second... Chrome is getting worse... Pin tabs was my fav feature.

Pin tabs may come back... One developer of chromium said so. But we better hope. Pin tabs are already gone from the Dev channel.
