Question Cookie management and removing favicons in bookmarks bar?

    Hi,

I want to whitelist some sites, whose cookies don't get deleted, if I quit Chrome (with setting for deleting bookmarks when quitting enabled). Is there a way to do this in chrome?

Second question: Is there a way to disable/remove the favicons from the bookmarks bar?

I'm trying Google Chrome and would like to do the same thing with cookies. There doesn't seem to be a way. I use Cookie Culler in Firefox to protect forum login cookies but can't find an equivalent extension for Chrome. One thing that I think must be an answer in my case:

I use Sandboxie. Although Chrome is installed outside of the sandbox, it is opened within it.

So the procedure is to open Chrome un-sandboxed, go to all of the sites that need logging into and set these up (download the cookies). Once done, close the un-sandboxed Chrome and from then on, run Chrome inside the sandbox and browse as normal gathering all cookies on the way.

To delete all of the unwanted cookies, empty the sandbox. Next time Chrome is opened inside Sandboxie, it will draw all the files from the un-sandboxed Chrome as it was initially set up with only the wanted cookies.

Well ..a bit involved but I think it works and is easier to do than explain or write about.

Ok, this would be a solution, but it isn't very comfortable at all . As long as there are no better options (and as long as there is no built in RSS reader), I'll be using Safari…
