| Some people don't know the difference between Dev, Beta and Stable channels, and where to choose them. Here's the difference: -> Stable Channel: You will rarely receive updates but it is the version with the least bugs. It is the official stable Google Chrome version. (Latest Version #: 3.0.195.33) -> Beta Channel: You will receive updates monthly, but it is less tested and may contain some bugs. (Latest Version #: 4.0.249.30) -> Dev Channel: You will receive updates weekly, but it is not tested much, contains bugs, and may crash often. (Latest Version #: 4.0.249.27) You can choose the channel of Chrome by downloading Chrome Channel Chooser and applying it. Feel free to correct me if somethings wrong.
