Default Enable 'God Mode' in Windows

Just came across this article telling you how to enable 'God Mode' in Windows 7...

You know how it is, you go to the Control Panel and can't quite remember which of the sub sections you need to go to to get the function you want ...

This gives you 250+ ways to change your computer settings all in one place...

I tried it on my Vista and it worked a treat...

As I don't have access to an XP config I don't know if it works for you Guys out there, give it a try and let us know ....

    Enjoy

Sweetest thing ever! Just found about it today, from here: http://news.cnet.com/8301-13860_3-10...orsPicksArea.0 and here http://lifehacker.com/5439498/create...t-in-windows-7 . It works like a charm in vista! And who said it has to be "GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}" it could even be "Chrome FTW.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}" all it needs is the ".", and the string of numbers. Or you could just rename it later. I wonder why they didn't replace the control panel with this!?

    Yeah Guys,

I was going to post about it having any name (but you beat me to it) ...

I think the thing that p***** me off about most of these posts was that they were all deriding it ....

The thing about the Control Panel is that most people know some off the things that are available, but even if you use the 'classic view' you still don't know what is available in each category ...

Sure, you can do a 'search' but that assumes you have some idea of what you're loooking for ...

I think 'GodMode' (or whatever you want to call it) is a welcome addition to your list of 'Vista Tools' it allows you to see at a glance everything you can do with the Control Panel (there are some things there that I didn't even know you could do !!)...

There was some mention in the articles that there was a potential problem using it in Vista, I have to say I haven't experienced any problems (yet)..

I agree, and I'm highly surprised it isn't a feature, I wish it was. And I think this is for developers and testers so there life is easier when doing their job. Oh and can you not upload via the forums uploader, because images are resized and the quality sucks, so hard to read

    EDIT:
Windows 7 has lots of 'GodModes' (exclusive)

    EDIT 2:
