Looking at the title of your post ...
Was so tempted to ask whether this meant more hay !!
The only thing that concerns me about this announcement is that if the problem exists in the Stable channel doesn't it also exist in the Beta and Dev channel releases ...
If that's the case where are the fixes for these channels ?
Not sure. I know typically updates to Stable channel focus on security while beta and dev focus on testing features. Perhaps it's what we get for not using Stable? I'd imagine the fixes will get pushed into our next round of updates as well.
@Devils ...
Bit off topic, but meant to ask earlier ...
Your on Windows 7, I'm thinking of giving it a try out ...
What attracted you to it ?
I'm running on super old hardware (P4 3.0, 2.2GB RAM) and I originally had XP on it. I started dual-booting XP with Vista and noticed terrible performance in Vista (unless I disabled all visual enchancements). I heard Windows 7 was supposed to perform on-par or better than XP on old hardware so formatted my system clean and Windows 7 runs beautifully.
Plus I obviously enjoy using software before it's officially released :-D
Thanks for the input ...
Just gotta install SP2 on me Vista then I think I'll give it a whirl ...
I'm a bit like you, like to give things a try out ...
Mind you last time I did something like this I was trying to install Ubuntu on a RAID0 config ...
Wow !! Did that cause me problems :-D
