I did a update which came along to update the chrome browser and I did yes .. so why now it showed me that it has crashed ..

Can anyone tell me while updating how can the chrome crashed and now it showing a white screen and nothing is happening around ..

why is this so .. and now I have to uninstall the chrome browser and I will loose My bookmarks and games everything ..

Does anybody know how to resolve the issue ..
