Default Google Chrome vs Firefox!

Hello everyone
I have been doing some tests to find out about how much memory Google Chrome takes , the behavior of the processes, its crash control feature and compared them with Firefox. I found out that Google Chrome takes about 1.5x more RAM then Firefox, but its quite stable.

what do you guys think?

lol hey kid, dont look at the memory Chrome's way....Look at it how Windows XP sees it. That will tell you the actual amount . Shared or dedicated, at a given time the processes are taking up the memory which is shown in the Windows task manager.

Chrome is still beta, right? Interesting to see a "Chrome vs. Firefox" match-up, but... aren't Google and Firefox allies in the first place? I think an even more meaningful comparison would be a "Chrome vs. Internet Explorer" match-up.

No, Firefox is absolutely not used more than IE, not by a long shot. Only in the world of Linux will that ever happend.. untill now that is, Google Chrome will kill on eof them, and surpass the other.

Anyway, what's the point? what is it to ya if something uses memory? it MIGHT slow down performance, eh? Well, how interesting is that really, when you obviously work much faster in Chrome than in Firefox anyway, no matter what statistics say, you´ll either accomplish MORE with Crome, or get finished alot sooner, then it takes up NO memory. I'd like to se statistics about how much memory used for HOW LONG when you are comparing doing the same tsasks on both. Anything else is just plain pointless. (And i bet the satisfactory-level is quite given, never the less.

Peace!
