I've wanted to switch to Chrome but the biggest turn off to me as been that Chrome does not clear browsing history upon closing the browser. This is a primitive feature that just about every web browser has except Chrome. I have no interest in private browsing mode or any of that as I want my cookies and cache to remain, I only want browser history to clear by itself. If Chrome hasn't implemented this is there an add-on that will do it for you?

If your on windows then Click&Clean can do that for you, plus a bunch of other stuff......

Thanks, that's pretty much what I had in mind. So I've switched to Chrome now

Shame Google doesn't have the sense to make such a feature built into the browser though.
