    Default Kiosk mode

I've been trying to find extensions or hacks to make Chrome run in kiosk mode akin to that of Opera but have been unsuccessful thus far.

Basically, I need Chrome to start in true full screen (no taskbar or top bar visible) and not have the black [ press F11 to exit ] bar come up on top on mouse hover.

AFAIK there is nothing out there to accomplish this. Anybody got any ideas?

This is as far as I got personally: http://code.google.com/p/chrome-kiosk/. I know it's a terrible hack but I couldn't think of anything better. If anybody would like to help out and take this further please let me know!

Ok sorry I am new here, I have downloaded the hack which is exactly what I need but, I can't get it to do it on start up? I am sure this is simple, but if anyone can shed light on this, it would be greatly appreciated!

There's a command line switch for that, add -kiosk to the command line.
Right click on the shortcut to start chrome and make Target look something like this (for XP)....
    "C:\Documents and Settings\Admin\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" -kiosk

    What is Kiosk Mode?
Ever been to a mall of something and seen a terminal with a touch screen (to say, find a shop or something)? well thats what kiosk mode is for.
It runs chrome in full screen and has no way of going out of fullscreen (well shouldnt I didnt test that much), chromes kiosk mode isnt perfect because it still allows some key combinations it shouldnt like bringing up the debug console but they could be suppressed with an extension.
