Is there any way in Chrome (3.0.190.4) to automatically open a new tab each time a bookmark is clicked? I know there is some sort of utility that can be used to open a new tab by pressing the CapsLock key but that must be a resident keyboard "stuffer" program because it also is in effect when Chrome is not running. Thats not what I have in mind; I could just as easily click the "+" sign to open a new tab.

I already posted this several times.. but here it is :

CTRL + CLICK will open in a new tab ( not focused )
CTRL + SHIFT + CLICK will open ( focused )

You can also use these hotkeys on any link. Home, back, next, refresh works too.

Middle mouse button click will also work...

but not on a Mac of course... (only 1 button on the mouse)

Thanks. That worked - for unfocused new tab - once I remapped my MS mouse wheel to middle-click. Too bad that my mouse software will not take Ctrl-Shift as a keyboard mapping but it will only take things like Ctrl-A, Ctrl-B, etc..

Apparently, shift+middle mouse click opens a focused new tab.

I cannot stress how IMPORTANT this is. I really hope I get a prompt response.

How can I open an actual button in a new tab? The button submits something and does a tally type thing, in a new page, so how do I have it do that in a new tab?
