I found that you cannot close a pinned tab, you have to un-pin it first...
    I seems to un-load and then re-load...

You CAN close it. It just needs an extra middle click/Right click->close

I installed the Dev just to see how these worked but could not get any settings to stick. So I installed the latest chromium build and the settings stuck but there is no exception field. The way this 'looks' it should be possible to have it set up almost like Opera. Its not far from customized settings per page.

Still waiting for the option to be able to move extensions icons around by drag 'n' drop... (I wish they did not remove the Extension Toolbar... That was really useful)
    Chrome and Chromium FTW!

    Agreed.

The options are there but they don't work for me, and when I slide the slider to the right, and click the two right arrows to drop down the extensions it doesn't work Other then that I have no problems.

I moved back to Chrome dev because Chromium is getting really buggy as they implement this content filtering system but I had a glimpse of how it'll work and its very impressive. Hopefully they get all the bugs out.

If you set the filters for 'no plugins' (for example) an icon will come up in the navigation field with an x through it and allow you to make that site an exception. They seem to be against loading up options in the right click and using the page for icons etc instead.
