hello all, i'm new here, i searched in the forum, but no plugin or theme seems to have what i'm looking for.

1) i'm looking to have a searchbar like the one in ie8, in fact since i already have my preferred search engine in ie8 i'd like chrome to use them as well in a separate search bar to the right of the adress bar.

i know the omnibar is meant to be used for everything. i'm just looking for something like in ie8 in a sep searchbar.

2) also is there a plugin or something internal to chrome that would let it access my favorites in windows rather than have seperate bookmarks for chrome and ie ?

yes i know about import/export. that's cumbersome in day to day life, i'm looking for something that will be more transparent on the same computer.

To basically integrate chrome more into the favorites transparently like internet explorer does.

3) is there a way to open all 3 of my homepages when i click the home button?

right now it only opens the chooser or 1 of the homepages. i'd rather have all 3 since i use my browser to check email, i set up my gmail and hotmail pages in there.


These are 3 of the top thing i use in ie8 and would like to have in chrome.

any help would be appreciated. ty.
