We've had Bookmark syncing for some time now, but have you ever wished you could 'sync' other attributes of your favourite browser ?
Well now you can ...
In the latest Dev release you have the ability to 'sync' other elements of your Chrome install...
In addition to bookmarks you can now 'sync' your Preferences, Autofill and Themes ...
Under the 'Personal Stuff' tab of Options you can now choose to 'sync' Bookmarks, Preferences, Autofill and Themes
You can also customise using a command line switch on your Chrome shortcut
You can enable them individually or collectively ...
-enable-sync
-enable-sync-autofill
-enable-sync-bookmarks
-enable-sync-preferences
-enable-sync-themes
You obviously need to enable 'syncing' in all of your other Chrome installs, however you can do this selectively...
For instance you may not want the same Theme in all of your different versions of Chrome (I don't) ...
As with your bookmarks (if you used it) 'syncing' is done through your Google Docs account ...
The only downside is that they haven't included extensions (yet) :-(
