I'm wondering if is time to reinstall google chrome. the other day i downloaded chat, and right after my display became real small, i try every thing but nothing every page you go to you have to reset the zoom; then in my home page under settings my three options appear on the left side under videos, and when i go to my notebook, i don't get any buttons and there is no icon for it nether; so i'm thinking reinstall, and see how thing will work before i encourage the rest of the family to get chat. any ideas out there.....!

i did it i went all the way and uninstall chrome completely and restart, then i install it again, and this time every thing is working, the only bad part still is the display but with the zoom ready to adjust under the wrench, is a small price to pay, now i'm just "extensions happy" organizing all my stuff and if it stay stable, i'm making me a partition and installing the OS soon
well no because i don't know how to do that, but i have two hard drives so in my big one "tb" i can make a partition and keep it for the OS; buy the way how do you mean by clearing the cache

Windows troubleshooting: Create a new browser user profile
If your browser user profile is corrupted, you can create a new user profile to replace the broken one:
1. Exit Google Chrome completely.
2. Locate the User Data folder by going to the Start menu > Run. Enter one of the following directories in the text field, then press OK.
- Windows XP: %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\
- Windows Vista: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\
3. Rename folder as 'Backup User Data.'
You should now be able to open Google Chrome normally. A new 'User Data' folder is automatically created as you start using the browser. If you want to transfer your old browser history and bookmarks into your new user profile, copy the relevant files from the 'Backup User Data' folder to your new 'User Data' folder.
i did that, of course the reinstall had fix things, but it look like a good idea to clean things up, so every thing work great and the best part of google that i like is that all you do is sign in and all your stuff comes back, so then i was hopping i could fix the zoom headache but installing one zoom extension and thats when things go wrong; my account settings shift to the left and any individual pages ( notebook, bookmarks...) they can not be zoom, but it works good for most of my web pages ( except radio, and weather); so i disable the extension and every things work good again; so i guess i'll keep zooming individual pages under the wrench, until some one can come up with a solution; I have a 25" monitor and my resolution is 1920 x 1200
my google is 6.0472
