    Question Secunia PSI is telling me Google chrome is outdated but it's not its updated help??

    hi there Secunia PSI tells me i still have version 5.0.375.99 installed but i dont as Chrome updated to version 5.0.375.125 how do i fix this i think chrome left the old folder from last version there or something what can i do? is there a place i can look dose chrome leave the older appication data folder around when it updates? please anyone help thanks.

We are looking into fixing it because it's not polite (and there's no great reason) to leave the old cruft around and take up extra space on the harddrive."

    ok so if i just leave it the next update will take care of it? if i read that correct no need to do anything and Secunia is just complaning that the old on is partially there is all. glad it poses no security issue. reply back if i understood this correctly thanks.

    i was over at Secunia forums and allot people are just deleting this old version is that advisable? should i do that.

    As long as you have closed all open Chrome windows and restarted Chrome since the update, it is safe to delete the older version directory.
