Hey Guys (and Gals) we always seem a bit preoccupied with the Dev channel here ...

So you may have missed that Chrome has taken a major leap forward in the Stable version ...

It's now at 2.0.172.28

My understanding is that people on the Stable channel should be updated automatically, so instead of just telling people to update to the latest Dev version it will be woth checking to see if they're on the latest Stable version first ...

The level it's now at means that most of the problems we have previously encountered shouldn't exixt in the new Stable version ...

Nice to see tha gap between channels is now so small :-D

While I'm on ...

At the weekend I installed Chrome for a mate of mine ....

However what I noticed was that the Application folder is now installed in the system Program Files folder ...

Mine has always been in my User account ...

When did it change ?
