I followed the instructions in the Google Chrome FAQ for getting User Scripts enabled, but I'm not having any luck. I'm running Vista64 and have subscribed to the Dev channel. About Google Chrome says I am running version 4.0.266.0. I created this folder "C:\Users\MyName\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\User Scripts" and added '--enable-extensions --enable-user-scripts' to the target in my shortcut to Chrome. Is there anyway to tell once I've started Chrome whether or not scripts are enabled. In the FAQ it said that Chrome would create the User Scripts directory automatically so I renamed it an restarted Chrome, but the directory never got recreated.

The main 2 scripts I want are below. I know that some may not work in Chrome. But I haven't gotten any to work so far. Could someone verify that they can get one of these to work in Chrome?

I think that chromeplugins.org FAQ page may be a little out of date regarding user scripts.

The "User Scripts" folder and --enable-user-scripts parameter are no longer in use on current Dev channel builds (like 4.0.266.0). For details, see: http://crbug.com/27520 - "Disable --enable-user-scripts"

User scripts are now automatically converted into extensions when you drag them into a Chrome window.
