A ping test only tells a litle about the latency to that specific country/server, can't see that is so interesting..?

@Benni, just curious, are your values measured (how did you measure?) or theoretical?
btw speed is also related to that specific country/server...

Doesn't look right. Were you downloading something while doing the test, like torrents or something. Or maybe steaming videos, or something that uses the internet because that might of slowed it down.

@Clouds Unfortunately not, my connection was given to speedtest.

So weird. Here 10mb is already a really nice speed.

Now the price did decrease, and more companies are offering ADSL/Cable, so the competition is bigger, but still our most afordable speeds in Brazil are till 15 mb (which is rare already for home users).

100mb here is something like 500 BRL (~ 280 USD per month). Too expensive still, and the infrastructure doesn't make you really wonder for it.
