Question Where does Chrome store it's bookmarks on the hard drive under Windows XP ?

I want to find the files responsible for the storage of my bookmarks. Can you help me?

EDIT: So as not to start a new thread, I'd like to change the question after an alarming discovery.

The user data is supposed to be stored in *user directory*/Application Data/Google/Chrome, but I can't find a Google folder there. 0_o
Where on Earth is everything getting saved then?
Is this a bug or something?
