Question for any of you Win7 users. I find randomly (I think it might be after a dev update, haven't been able to pin-point it down) I'll notice when I go to my <user> folder, I'll have to folders named "Downloads". One of course is my downloads folder but the other one is empty. If I then navigate to "My Documents" I see there is another "Downloads" folder in here, also empty. If I delete it, the other empty folder also goes away. It's almost like it was a shortcut to the My Documents\Downloads folder. I'm almost positive it's Chrome because the date stamp on the folder was the same time I re-installed Chrome dev.

Anyone else notice this?

I use Orbit to download while in Win 7 and the location is the Desktop

If I use Chrome to download, the Desktop is also the location

I have mine pointing to the Downloads folder, but what I'm saying is that I think Chrome CREATES a My Documents\Downloads folder upon installation.

I have Chrome installed in WinXP and there is a Downloads folder in My Documents folder

That's why the topic said Win7. Did the same thing on my laptop too.

Guess I should have reported a couple weeks ago when I discovered it. It's been in every release so far :P
