    Dev Channel Update
    by Anthony

    The Windows Dev channel has been updated to 4.0.201.1.

    This release contains all the fixes and changes from 3.0.197.11, plus one additional change: we've added bookmark synchronization!

    To start using the feature, start Chrome with the "--enable-sync" flag, and go to "Wrench"->"Sync my bookmarks..."

    For more details about bookmark synchronization go to: http://blog.chromium.org/

    You can find out about getting on the Dev channel here: http://dev.chromium.org/getting-involved/dev-channel.

    If you find new issues, please let us know by filing a bug at http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/entry.

    @Sul

    Only thing about the Sync is you got to have a Google account and it would have been better if you didn't have to have a command line enable ....

    @Skid

    Have you got extensions enabled ?

    it would be obvious that users need a Google account to sync the bookmarks :-)
    I am still trying to figure out how to access my bookmarks with Google though

    and I do see the point of not adding command lines to the shortcut

    EDIT
    just a little bit about Chromium :-)
    it doesn't has the sync feature

    EDIT
    oooops spoke too soon
    added the command line --enable-sync to Chromium and the feature is available

    @Sul:

    I noticed you said you were still trying to figure out how to access your bookmarks... I think it's not fully ready just yet.

    Check out: https://www.google.com/accounts/ManageAccount

    After you enable syncing you will notice this friendly new icon and it (currently) says "New Service". Clicking it just brings you to Google's homepage.

    So it's still in development. But I'm looking forward to this, thanks for the info!

    @Steve:
    Google will always "want" you to use their products, this is kinda of a first step for Chrome to be introduced to a cloud like environment.

    Also the command line "switch" is standard, thats why its a dev build. Once its fully ready we'll see it come down to a beta build most likely with it already enabled, and then Stable.
