Arrow Are you using Chromium, Chrome or SRWare Iron?

Iím curious... how many people really use the "official" Google Chrome. I started with Chromium (long time ago) but got tired quickly because way too many new snapshots were released lol. Currently, Iím using the Google Chrome dev version.

    Chromium
    • Original project
    • new features probably before Chrome dev

    Link: Download Snapshot(s)

    Google Chrome
    • Some visual differences (compared to Chromium)
    • new features a bit delayed (compared to Chromium)

    SRWare Iron
    • Crash information is not sent to Google
    • integrated Adblocker
    • No user-specific information is sent to Google

    Link: Download SRWare Iron

SRWare Iron sounds nice, but that they removed sending crash informations to Google makes the Chromium project useless IMO. How can the Chromium developers remove bugs? lol I never tried their adblocker, but thanks to some guys, there are Adblocker user scripts and extensions for Google Chrome out there.

Anyway, Iíd never use such a (small) third party product anymore. Way too much sensitive information are sent from the browser. I trust Google more than a small and unknown company.

What you guys use and why...?

Google Chrome Dev Version user here.

Reason why I'm not on Chromium:
    - Updates are way too frequent. The weekly/bimonthly updates of Chrome are good enough for me.
Reason why I'm not on Iron:
    - I was actually very intrigued with it. But as nandayo said, I guess it has to do with me trusting the big brand more. As shiny as that integrated adblock and increased security is, I have a bigger trust bank for Google.

    Google Chrome Dev Version: 4.0.220.1
Thanks to GCL721 for my avatar.

I don't see any advantages for me over the variations (I use Chrome btw).

Chromium: too many updates and doesn't have that update checker tool built-in. This means more time spent to make it up-to-date, which I don't want loose and don't need too.

Iron: for people paranoid about sending info or because that adblock is so needed, I think it's great, but this neither is my case.

I just want a stable browser, clean, fast and that make it possible to check for updates easily. Chrome has all that, and I don't really care if Google has my profile or anything as that. I won't say I thrust so much Google, because I heard many cases of people who lost everything from their gmail accounts... So it's not like Google is a "super company". Let's say it's just a company that I respect because of their simple (and robust) solutions.
