Default ChromePlus - An IE Tab and Mouse Gesture Sporting Chrome

Thought you Guys/Gals might want to take a look at this ...

Its for Windows only: It provides more advanced Chrome functionality—like mouse gestures (I know we've already got them), link dragging, IE tabs, etc.

Its a tweaked Chrome build called ChromePlus

I've only just downloaded it but it's pretty cool (Based on 3.0.193.0) and well worth a look ...

Mouse Gestures are line drawn, obviously not as comprehensive as the one we had in Chrome Gestures ...

Additional Tab in the Options for Mouse Gestures and IE Tab URL Management (Haven't tested that yet) ...

It uses your already installed Chrome Data including Extensions, Themes, and your Bookmarks (although the Bookmark Bar rendering was a bit naff, mind you I was using a Chrome crx)...

This was the article ...

This is the Download site ...http://www.chromeplus.org/

Would be interested to know what you think ;-)

The creator of ChromePlus swamped this forum with the same post in a number of sections;
I removed all except one

Have to be honest, didn't really take a lot of notice of yesterdays posts ...

I do think its unfortunate that someone new to the forum chooses to post the same thread in a number of areas in the hope that it will be noticed and commented on, only to find that it is labelled as spam ...

As for the 'product' itself, your view, as you so rightly mentioned, is entirely your own ...

However, if nothing else, what it does achieve is to show what Chrome will be capable of once Google have attained their 'long term ambitions' for Chrome (v5 perhaps ?)...

I still thinks its worth a look ;-)

You would need to post a request on the owners web site ...

I hope you have gotten a 'OK' from Google to call it ChromePlus.. And permission of the extension authors to ship them along otherwise you could very easy run into trouble (posting spam is a good indication you'r on your way to trouble)
