I found one downside: this new version only scores 94/100 on the acid3 test and visually it is not perfect anymore in the test.

I wonder why they jumped from 2.0.xxx to 3.0.xxx ?

Maybe it's because of the Webkit / V8 updates.

I hate plain Chrome

I'm at work right now, can anyone confirm that CustomNewTab still works ?

Custom NewTab is OK (as are all extensions)...

Its just the fonts on the tabs and bookmarks bar that are totally screwed (extremely small), even though the blog says its only a problem with non English languages !!!
